Alexis Taylor was born near Seattle, went to high school in Portland, and graduated from the University of Oregon in Eugene. However, a few days after graduation in 2016, she moved to Austin to stay. Since then, she has lived all over the metro area, from Leander to the East Side.
With a professional background in negotiation, sales, event management, networking, and teamwork, Alexis also has a strong sense of community rooted in her college studies of general social science, business, and economics. Her lifelong familiarity with real estate comes from growing up in a family that was actively involved in managing commercial and rental properties. As a coach at Zillow®, she has also helped thousands of agents improve the client experience.
In her own work, Alexis carries her father’s advice: “Always be prepared, do your best, and take responsibility.” She also adheres to her personal philosophy: “Stay hungry, humble, and helpful.” A great believer in building connections, she measures her success not in the number of transactions but by the number of people she’s able to help.
Along those lines, she recently joined the membership committee of Texas Women in Business Austin, connecting with other women in business and deepening the professional significance of those alliances. Her leisure time is largely spent at live shows at any one of Austin’s many great music venues.
